If you are ever feeling down, spend a little bit of time with the youth of the church.
Man, are they great people.
Add going to the temple with the youth to the equation and you will have a smile on your face all day long.
The icing on the top of the cake was having Tyson in the temple with us.
He was able to do baptism's and confirmations for our very own ancestors.
I stood near the font watching and listening to these sacred ordinances be performed and my eyes were wet.
Temple work has always been dear to my heart. But this is the first time I have been involved in finding names to take and the experience was enhanced beyond words.
That same night we had a mutual activity.
I tell ya, my day was pretty good. Busy...but good.
We planned a game night for the boys and it was loads of us.
We played:
Red rover
Missionary Tag
Duck Duck Goose
Mrs. Sally Walker
Don't Smile and
Ninja
A group of Samoan young adults invited us to play volley ball against them ....and we ended our great day getting out butts whipped....but we had fun doing it!
The church is true!
