Mom signed up the family for a 5K. It's tradition. I helped Lydia train for a week or so before the real race. She loved training a lot more than the race. It was 25 degrees out. Brrr. But everyone did great!
Mom & Dad before the big race.
The Cole's came to support.
Heather, Logan, Mom & Dad.
Sarah, Dad and Mom took turns pushing and running with the girls .
Heather took off and ran like a champ.
That is Tyson with the gray hood and blue shorts.
My man can run like nobody's business! Seriously.
He still had some gas left in his tank. That is running talk.
Just think what he could do if he ran his guts out. (That is not running talk. Just me.)

Cru was impressed.

Scott was disappointed in him and wishes he could be his personal running trainer. Ha ha.
I had to take this picture and show Logan that he was beat by a girl on crutches. What on earth? Is this for real? I have no idea. I've been on crutches and there is no way I could do a 5K on them.
Waiting for the rest of the fam.

Logan came in next. He ran a 10 minute mile and was back in 30 minutes. WOW!!!!
Jake hurt his foot the night before and was limping. Poor kid didn't get to run.
I don't know anyone in this pic. But I loved the view of the mountains.
Heather came in next. She ran the whole time without stopping.

The Cole girls and Dad passing the finish line. Woo hoo!
Lydia was not in the stroller. That was a good sign.
Scott and I both thought this dude looked like the guy from Happy Gilmore. The dude with the nail stuck in his head. Do you know who I am talking about? Dude. He was huge!
Here comes my baby!!!! (and Nana....sorry I cut your head off Mom.)
Dad and Lydia pose. They are both great runners.
Family shot!
Tyson's results. He was 4th in his age group. 19-30 year
(Did I mention he is 30?) Sweet! He was 13th overall.
Someone asked me if Lydia ran the whole way. Here is your answer. Weeeee! Ha ha. Love that girl!
This explains why I wasn't in the race. Ha ha.
I am glad to be part of a running family though. They all love it and it is such a great tradition!

I loved all the pictures of the 5K. I felt like I was right there watching them. It looks like you continue to do lots of fun things. Have a great spring.
