Easter Saturday

Did you know that if you plant Jelly Beans, lollipops will grow?
It is true! We tried it. Check it out.
It really works!

The Easter Bunny visits our home Saturday morning. Lydia had to follow some ribbon from her bedroom to her basket. The Easter bunny couldn't find any yarn. Ooops. She got a new mermaid barbie and some eggs filled with treats. She was over the moon.

She had a great cheering section at the Friendship park Annual Easter eggs hunt.
I couldn't believe how organized this place was.
Each field was filled with TONS of eggs and they had a field for each age group.
Wow! So much work.Thank you South Ogden!
Granddad and Nana.
It was a perfect day, weather wise!

Some parent yelled GO before the official sirens went off and then everyone in our age group started running out. Lydia took off and went to town picking up eggs!
Check out her loot! (It was mostly salt water taffy.)

A Look back:

We met up with the Cole's and tried to hit one more hunt.....but we were unsuccessful. So we headed back to Mom's and had an Easter Saturday Brunch. It was delicious. Cinnamon Rolls, Quiche, Fruit, Sausage....etc.

Jake hid some eggs for the girls in the yard and the found those confetti eggs.
Those are nuts! We had stuff in our hair for days. :)

These are the eggs that we made earlier that week at the Head's house. We tried lots of different techniques. This one is my favorite! So cool right?!

A look back:

Later that afternoon Tyson and I  threw Lydia's bike in the back of our truck and headed to the River She is getting better every time she rides it.

Running...and jumping....
She is getting better every time she rides it.
While we were playing soccer and frisbee out in the big field Lydia wandered off a bit and ran into the Felsteds. If I am going to fun into anyone I know....they would be on the top of my list. We love this family! They are the best!
We visited and let the kids play.

Owen and Lydia.

This day was practically perfect in every way!
