EVOO Hair Mask

Did you know you can learn just about anything on You tube? I love that website and all the people who post all their talents and knowledge, it is such a neat way to share.

I seriously find people fascinating.

My favorite things to search for lately are hair tutorials and beauty tips for make up…etc. Lydia watches the hair ones with me too. Its been a fun way to bond and then I try them out on her. Some of them turn out better than others.  524272_10150845538933210_509163209_11783885_1267464319_n582035_10150845549183210_509163209_11783897_1044631087_n

The other night I was watching some cute teenage girl in Ireland teach me about going Poo-less, have you heard of it? Going Shampoo less. She used a mixture of water and baking soda for the shampoo and apple cider vinegar and water for conditioner. Crazy right? But it is supposed to be so healthy for your hair. I haven’t gone so far as to try that.

But I did try a Olive oil hair masks that she demonstrated. You warm up some Olive oil, massage it into your hair from the root down, stick a cap or towel over your hair and let it sit. I waited for about 45 minutes. Then it took 2 washes to get it out with my long hair. It was super easy.

I let my hair air dry like I normally try to do and it FEELS AMAZING! It is soft and silky and it doesn’t smell. I couldn’t keep my hands out of it. Tyson came home from work and I liked how it felt too. It has been 3 days and I’m still loving it!

I don’t know how often I can do this, I will look into that, but I am definitely going to be doing it again. It compared to the hot oil treatments I’ve received from my sisters hair salon….only its practically FREE!
