We did a little photo shoot of Lydia in her Easter dress. Her Nana bought her and Courtney the same dress this year and she thought that was pretty cool. Here she with that sparkling grin, wearing her first pair of heels (which are 2 sizes to big) and melting my heart with those beautiful dark blue eyes!
Lydia was asked to read a scripture and say a prayer in Primary. It was her first time doing this. I tried teaching her a scripture by memory, since she can’t read on her own. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be. My little miss is incredible at remembering lyrics to music. Check this new video out! But a scripture was a different story, because she couldn’t go up and sing. It didn’t come easy to her, but after about a week she had mastered it.
I would have gone in and recorded her in Primary if that was acceptable, but it’s not. Ha ha. Instead I recorded her reciting it at home. Here it is. Watching her brought me so much joy, I think I might keep on teaching her more scriptures.
PS. She always seems to mix up the end and amen. I love it.
