Little Princess Shrinky Dinks

I wish I could say that we had some fun creating Shrinky Dinks the other day, Lydia and I, but in all honesty I  had all the fun working on this project & Lydia is just enjoying the finished product!

I found this image of Lydia's favorite Disney Princesses on google images, all of them, minus Yong, Yong Hair, (Rapunzel) her very favorite. Aren't they ADORABLE! I love them. The first time around I traced & colored them, like I did with Fancy Nancy. She wears Fancy Nancy just about every day. They turned out pretty good, but I wasn't 100% pleased.

Then I had the bright idea to slide the Shrinky Dink paper through the printer. Duh, why had I never thought of that before, who knows, but I'm glad I did and it worked! It only took 10 seconds too, so much faster than before.
After that I cut them out,
punched a hole in the top,
popped em in the oven for 3-4 minutes at 350 degree's,
added a ribbon and voila,
 Lydia had a new necklace!

I asked Lydia which one she wanted on her necklace and she wanted all of them.
So all of them is what she got!

My Shrinky Dink paper came all the way from my friend Marie in France.
Its the good stuff! Thanks girl!
