My Little Sunbeam

Pinned Image

I live with a Sunbeam! Lydia started primary last Sunday. I was the sentimental slop when she began Nursery. (read about that here.) Tyson won the prize this time around. He came in to drop her off and with his brows furrowed and a big sigh, I could just tell he was holding back tough Daddy emotions. He sentimentally watched his once baby girl happily go to the front row and plop down on her tiny chair. Then he came back in to see how she was doing (and to say hi to me) and barely beat me when it came time to pick her up from class.

She came home and re-counted the lyrics to the song: "Choose the right way and be happy....I must always choose the right." Awwww!

I've heard it said that "it takes a village to raise a child" and I am grateful for all the wonderful people that will help me love her & teach her the things of God that will help her make it in this world.

I didn't take any pictures...but she wore this. She's been telling me everyday that it is Sunday tomorrow. It has been a long week and I know she is anxious to go back!

One more thing before I forget. The theme for Primary this year is Choose the Right and our primary is reading the book of Mormon this year. I found this fabulous reading chart, it is cute and practical. I've always been a chart/list kind of girl. I have one going for me & one for Lydia. (Lydia gets to color in a circle for each day we read instead of by chapter.)
