My father-in-law retired while we were in Utah. It was a delight to be there to share in that experience!
He has worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for most of his career. The last 7 years he was President of Welfare Square. I've been on tours (see here) and volunteered down there before, it is an amazing facility. You have no idea how much good our church does for the entire world and at what pace until you go down and learn about it. It is inspiring and jaw dropping.
Everyone he worked with loved him and his endearing personality, that was no surprise. We all adore him too! I know he will be missed and a new adventure awaits he and Beth, I know they already have a few trips planned, one is to Oklahoma. We can't wait to have them come!!!!

Jim & Beth treated all of the adults to a dinner out that night. It was delicious and great company!
