Tyson looks forward to this day all month long. He loves playing football, and is pretty good at it too, it's a shame they only play once a year. He rocked it as quarter back. Lydia and I went to go watch, play at the park and visited with the other 2 wives.
Lydia and Dylan Hinckley.
For history sake when my memory fails me: Left to right: Matt Jensen's brother, Elder Motey, Bro. Tayla, Keeler, Ty Hutchin's, Sam & Caden Tyalor, Kailyn Despain, Bro. Bradley, Nate & Spencer Hinckley, Bro. Allen, Matt Jensen, Elder Guinto, Tyson, Ryan Bell, other Matt Jensen & Bro.Nelson.
I stopped by Sharon's house while Tyson ran home to shower and get ready. She made homemade pumpkin cinnamon rolls with a delicious frosting. Mmmmm! So good. Then we hit the road toward Edmond. We spent our first Thanksgiving in OK with the Walser's as well. We felt quite at home. They are a great family and excellent hosts.
After dinner we ventured outside. We were spoiled with nice weather.
The guns came out for some target practice.
Poor pumpkin.
Tyson, Mitchell, Bro. Hillock & Carlin.
Heather, Aubery, Keely & I.
We watched some parade, football and part of Home Alone while we were there. Lydia made her self comfortable on Grandpa Walser. Awwww!
I made a caramel apple pecan pie. It was scrumptious. I got the recipe from here.
However the game was during nap time, lunch time and it was miserably cold outside. We were reluctant to bring her but we did anyways and she did great! We were both super proud.
It was windy and rainy, but we were sitting in the one covered area of the stadium, protected by the elements. We were on the back row and could sneak out to the restrooms easily as well. It couldn't have been a better situation for her.
It was quite the experience to say the least.
The fans.
The band.
The energy.
The energy.
The cheering.
The score went in our favor too.
She was just starting to fall asleep on her Daddy during the last 2 minutes of the game.
