The Wagoners came over for dinner as planned and we feasted on some grilled salmon & chicken, salads, fruit and cheese cake. It was delicious. They are quite the cooks!
We had a short Family home evening with the Sisters while Tyson took the Elders to an appointment and when they came home we all played some games. (Rummi and the Dice game.) It was so hot out, so we waited until almost 8 p.m. to venture over to Reeves park. We loaded our bags with some more treats and lots of water.
Elder Ortiz almost refused to carry our camping chairs. He is from Mexico, was holding Canadian camp chair on the 4th of July in the United States. Ha ha.
Lydia was gearing up for the 'scary' fireworks about 10 minutes after we got to the park.
Lydia did so much better than last year. She covered her ears up until the last 3 or 4 minutes.
My oh my how I loved laying next to these two while we watched the fireworks.
The show was wonderful! I love this country. I am proud to live here.
I love all of my freedoms and I am grateful for those who fight for them.
