Fact: I met Tyson in Aug of 2001. The very FIRST Harry Potter movie was coming to theaters that Octoboer. He insisted I read the book before I went to the movie and I did and like everyone else I was hooked. After hours of waiting in line at the New Gate mall we finally got into the 1:30 a.m. showing.
Now here we are, 10 years later and it has all come to an end. Last week Tyson took me to see the last movie in the series. (Date night with the Walsers too.) It was just perfect, it felt like I had already seen parts of it before as the movie was so similar to how I had imagined it. I have a feeling this won't be the end. I hope to someday introduce the books to Lydia and let her experience the magic where it all began, number 4 Privet Lane under the stair case, to Platform 9-3/4, Hogwarts and on and on!
These three did a fantastic job... the characters in my mind and the ones on the screen. J.k. Rowlings is a genius in my books. Well done and thank you for the ride!

Aw memories! I was telling Matt all about the first Harry Potter movie...I'm pretty sure he thought I was crazy for standing in line for so long! He likes the movies....but not as much as us :) (He's only read through book 4 too....)
Oh my gosh! After the movie (and bawling for 2 hours) I told Tim "it's the end of an era!" and we were both sad :( Pottermore?!
