Duck Pond & Missionaries times 2

Photobucket
Caden & Lydia at the 'evil' campus duck pond. Ah!

They geese were literally flocking around our truck waiting for me to get the kids out so they could attack us and eat all our bread. I couldn't tell the kids 'sorry, mom is scared, we are going home", because well, they are TWO. So I braved it out, got me a stick to protect my little ones. The kids loved every minute of it, not I. Did I ever mention I was bit by a duck as a child, my fault, I didn't let go of the bread....we were on family vacation somewhere in Canada...and I hated that experience.

Seriously, these pictures don't do anything justice, they really were super hostile and aggressive little creatures!

Anywho, we survived....and made it back home safely!

The week of St. Patricks day we had the Elders coming for dinner and they had 2 extra missionaries staying with them for a training meeting. Elder Olsen top right asked, "Do you have any relatives in Idaho?" Nope. (well yes, Tyson has 2 Aunts), but we said no. Then he said, I had a Seminary teacher, Brother Goodrich in Preston Idaho???

Why it is always so fun to make a connection? Don't know but it is. YEP. That was Tyson's older brother, who now lives in Tridell. He knew they looked alike. We almost called Thane to tell him, but we never did...and in fact, I still don't think we ever told him.

2 sets of Elder = double the fun, double their amazing enthusiasm and contagious spirit they bring into our home. I love hearing about their experiences and their testimony's....and I love to cook! :)

What was on the menu? 1 1/2 lasagna's, Jell-o salad, vegetables & garlic bread. Eclair cake for dessert.
