Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend.

Oh gosh this one is hard for me. Do I really have to choose just one best friend? My rules say no. I cherish all of my friends. I have never really had only one best friend in my entire life. But I have always been able to make friends fairly easily and growing up I had big groups of friends, church friends, choir friends, school friends & neighbor friends, cousins, sisters....all of whom were fantastic friends.

My oldest friend that I still keep in contact with is Danielle. We met in Grade 2, 17th Ward primary in Calgary and she and I were the only church members at our Elementary school. We spent summer vacations together, her mom taught me piano and we just clicked and have been friends ever since. She lives in Australia now. Isn't she beautiful?!?

These were my high school best friends. This was Junior years Valentines dance Feb 2000. It was girls choice and so most of my friends were in this group. I was dating Brian and it turned out my friends all asked most of his friends and gosh it was a lot fun! Yes, you do see 5 blue shirts and one was my date. They thought they were cool. Ha ha.

Young adult friends. These are also some of my bestest girl friends. Hilary, Bridget, Steph, Alysa, Lynsi, Andrea & Jess. These girls have been around through my married years and I worked with a few of them at the After school friends and Weber State Univeristy. Dec 2009.

Tyson's friends from High school and their wives! You won't find a more fun group of people! Smiths, Fellers & Curtis are missing. :(

I've known Alysa since sophmore year, and Jess & Stephanie since the 7th grade. These girls have been through 'it all' with me and I mean it all. I LOVE them so much! This was at our former weekly Tuesday night girl nights after a Gilmore Girl episode.

Since my move here I have now some Oklahoma girl friends. We are all busy stay at homes Moms, we attend the same church and live fairly close to each other (within 10 miles) and they have all made living here pretty great. {Candice, Sharon, Dawn, Aubrey & Hilary.} Sarah Hales too, but she is not in this photo.

This is Marie. She is a one of kind kindred spirit. She and I are so much alike. She understands me in a way that nobody else does, it is hard to explain. Even Tyson doesn't get it all the way, but it is special. We now live on different continents but we still manage to stay close. We talk all the time and I think we both feel apart of the others life. She is going to have her 2nd baby in a few weeks, hopefully not earlier and it is killing me that I can't be there to help her! Love her tons!!!!

Obviously my all time best friend is Tyson. He knows how important it is to me to have good friendships and I appreciate that. But in the end their is nobody I'd rather spend my time with than him. I have known him since the summer after we both graduated, almost 10 years ago. I still remember the first time we talked and thinking what a cool guy he was. Little did I know that 10 years later he'd be my husband, we'd have the most precious little girl and be living in Oklahoma.

He is a top notch Dad, he honors his priesthood, he works hard at his job and in school, he loves the scriptures, he enjoys serving others, he does his best in his very time consuming calling, and even with all he has on his plate right now he always makes time to spend with Lydia and I.

....and I could have rambled on more, I have so many good friends who have influenced my life that I didn't even mention.I'd include my family too---but I think I get to blog about them for another challenge, so I will save them for later! xoxo
