This past week we had a 'snow' day. Ha ha. What Norman, Oklahoma considers to be a snow/ice day anyways. We could still see the grass, so we found it to be quite comical. However, we were very grateful for the day off Tyson had from seminary, school and work! We ate french toast, relaxed, napped, watched movies, baked bread and I worked on theses two projects.
(Poor Lydia, I really only made her stand there for 2.1 seconds...I promise!)
The weather forecasters are pretty funny to watch. One news anchor was reporting on the side of road to tell us the schools in her area were still open and no accidents had been reported. Then she bent down and brushed her hand through a bit of snow, showing us what a "big snow drift" it was. True story. I have it recorded because it interrupted my "Today Show". Tyson and I both had a good laugh together.
I made this crayon roll to store all of her Twistable crayons!
I saw a crayon roll at Quilted Bear last time I was there, they cost $7-10 dollars. I made this one out of some old denim jeans I had and a piece of ribbon. FREE! I didn't have a pattern and it obviously isn't perfect, but next time around I will go much smoother.
Lydia thought it was fun tucking in her crayons into their little beds. :)
That night I bravely ventured out into my car, to find all the snow/ice melted and I went to my monthly craft night with friends. I made this wreath for Valentines day. The yarn took SOOOO long! It was only a fun project to do because I had fun girls to sit and converse with!

OH MY GOSH, that Wreath is SO CUTE! I need to make one...maybe I will make one for St. Patricks day, becaue I already have a ugly wreath for Valentines day!
Dude!! I just made one of those this week....I'm liking how your rosettes are arranged though...I might change mine up a little. I did a white wreath though..with pink rosettes. I figured I could use it for other holidays too!
Love the wreath, I want to do one too. I am so mad I didn't come to the girl's night. I went to my gym for yoga and the class had been canceled due to the weather (insert eye roll here) and I was so upset I just went home and watched a movie with Carlin and completely forgot about it. Def
They call that Snow!!! haha. Love the crayon roll and the wreath is super cute!
