Dawn & Barry graciously let me use their house for our meal. That way I could invite more people and not leave any close friends out. We had 5 other families join us for dinner. Each friend brought a dish to add to my turkey, salad and dessert. Our combined meal turned out delicious!!!
Tyson had everyone go around the table and say something they are grateful for before we started to eat.
Barry feeding Guy.
Lydia and Samuel playing in the toy room.
I absolutely adore all of these precious munchkins.

Here are my awesome friends. They are the best. We always have a blast when we are together! PS. I love how everyone isn't even holding their own child. We really all love and treat each others children as if they were our own nieces and nephews.
After we cleaned up dinner, we visited and then played some Canadian Celebrity Charades, it was silly but fun. Everywhere I have lived in my life I have always been blessed to have such good people to associate with. I tried not to think about my family a lot on this day so I wouldn't get homesick. It stinks living so far away at times, but I am glad to be having this experience and have lots to be grateful for.
The gospel of Jesus Christ. My amazing husband who works hard, honors his priesthood and takes good care of me. Lydia who blesses me with the opportunity to be a Mom. A living prophet that will never lead us astray. Good food to eat. A warm cozy place to call my home. My education. My husbands job. My job. A free country to live in. My abilities and talents. Music that keeps my spirit happy. The scriptures. Visiting teachers. My church calling in Primary. Healthy bodies. Animals. Technology to keep me connected to far away family. Parents. Sisters. Parents. In-laws. Nieces and nephews. Date nights out of the house. Cousins. Aunts & Uncles. Grandparents who lived amazing lives. Healthy water. Beauties of the earth. Warm blankets. Missionaries. A temple that is closeby. Books. A.C and heat. Shoes. Uplifting movies. Nice clothes. Joseph Smith. 2 vehicles that work and run well. Playgrounds. Grocery stores. Traditions. Holidays. My list could go on and on and it does!

Your Turkey looked gorgeous! Way to go domestic girl!
That was so much fun and I'm so glad you put all that together. Carlin and I really enjoyed ourselves and that turkey was amazing. So was the pumpkin cake.
Mmm...Turkey!!! I have yet to attempt that. Maybe I will be calling you for some advice.
