Freddie Spaghetti (ape style)

This idea is "Sister Goodrich Original" I used my left over tin foil role. Spray painted it. Mod Podged some paper and glued 100 googly EYES all over it. This little gem (so simple) worked like a charm. The kids took turns walking around the room to see who was singing and after each song they chose another child. They sang their little hearts out!Photobucket

I made up this idea too. I'm no artist, but this is what I created out of a foam board and some foam. This activity is to help review ALL the program songs.

The names of each song are on the back.

A child gets to choose one and choose where it goes in our little 'land'. (I could NOT find any wodden people...if you ever see one, buy it for me would ya and I'll pay you back.) :)

This is the actual board put together as planned. (missing a turtle and car.) I bought them at my favorite store. Hobby Lobby!

But this is how it turns out after we get through the songs. Crazy, but fun!

Lastly, here is my Freddie. I told the kids that I love to cook (which I do) and that I made a HUGE bowl of spaghetti for our new friend Freddie. Buuut, Freddie only eats when all of the kids are singing. Silly? Yes! But the kids were singing!

Your Freddie Spaghetti idea is great! In Seattle, our primary chorister had a similar idea and the stuffed animal only came out when the kids sang well. The kids love it!

Those are awesome singing time ideas. I will totally use them if I am ever the primary chorister. Thanks for sharing.
