For the last week or so it has been quite rainy...and when it rains here it POURS!
This particular day it was about 5:00 p.m. Daddy was in his room studying,
I was thinking about starting dinner....and Lydia was wanting to go outside and play.
I opened the door and let her go! Then Dad emerged from studying,
saw her & ran out to join in on the fun. And without thinking too hard,
I quickly found myself outside too.
We were instantly soaked from head to toe.
We ran down the sidewalk, around our parking lot
and through all the BIG puddles...and got some funny looks
from the neighbors. The rain was coming down hard and heavy.
Indescribable fun.
One of those "You had to be there!" kind of moments.
When we walked back inside....we remembered we don't own a dryer...ooops. :)
But so worth it!
