This tribute is to you. The three most special Dad's I've had in my life.
Dad...you're amazing. My childhood is nothing but happy, amazing memories because of you....times I can look back on and long for the simplicity of what life should be. Daddy Daughter dates come to mind, special bridges, family trips to Summer land, sock monsters, trampolines, our first dog, family home evenings, special songs, reading books, endless love and laughter. You taught me how to pray, you taught me how to serve, you taught me how to love others and you helped me make some pretty important decisions in my life. I wouldn't be who I am today without you.
Jim...from the first time I met you, our first handshake that always turns it way into a hug I have felt loved and welcome in your home. I have learned so much from you through the years and look up to your example in more ways than one. The spirit you have in your countenance each and every day makes people around you want to become better. Thank you for letting me be apart of your great family and most importantly teaching my husband what it takes to be a great Father. He learned from the best!
Tyson...I always knew you'd be an amazing Dad, but you seem to outdo yourself each and every day and go above and beyond what I expect of you. (minus the bum wiping). Ha ha. You and Lydia have a special bond that can only exist between a Father and daughter. One that only I understand as a daughter. She adores you, watches your every move, copies you often, when you are around she is always 'up in your face' because you are her hero, her buddy, her playmate and best of all the only person she calls Daddy.
Thank you for protecting us, providing for us and being a worthy priesthood holder. You are the best Dad and Husband in the whole world. We are lucky girls to have you in our life!
Love you all so much.
Happy Fathers Day!!!
