Day to Day Life

Photobucket

We made it back to the Zoo with our season pass. They opened a new exhibit....a Children's interactive zoo, it is fabulous!

I tended this little Guy...yep, his name is Guy....he is so dang cute. Lydia is a good helper too. His mom is thinking of going back to work a few times a month, so maybe we will see more of him. :)

Crazy girl always climbing in and out of everything!

Her hair is getting longer! Wooo hooo!!!

Free admission Monday at the Dinosaur Museum...you can't pass that up!

You're Never Fully Dressed without...........SHOES....and in Lydia's case that is all she thinks she needs to be able to go outside and play.

Aubrey had a FUN idea to host a TWISTER party. (Since we are approaching Tornado season.) We watched the movie...a classic, ate the same meal from the movie, (steak, rolls, salad & gravy) and then Antoine went to take a shower, ok not really. The kids played Twister (sort of), we danced to The Twist...you get the picture! We were able to put all 4 kids to bed...and then stay and play games, always a plus with no grandparents around to babysit. Good times, good times!

This is our new little friend Destry. (6 months) I watch her once and a while too when her parents work and go to school. She is the easiest baby EVER...and darling too!

I woke up one morning and found this. :) She was having coughing attacks during the night and he said she finally fell asleep on the couch and he didn't want to move her.
I really love my life. It is nothing extravagant to anyone else but me...all the special moments I get to have with my small family mean the world to me. I am so blessed to be able to stay home and care for Lydia day in and day out. Is it always easy, heavens no...but it is so worth it and the best job I've ever had!

So much fun. I love staying home and taking care of the kids too - it just feels so right, even on the rough days. That was a super fun party, we should have parties more often.
