The kids had the day off school on Friday. I had a doctors appointment and a home visit that took up most of my morning but when the late afternoon came we decided to do something extra fun. I made a huge cooler of Lemonade and we set up on the corner.
J was in charge of cups and Mason and Lydia did all the collecting of money and delivering of the lemonade to the cars. I plunked down under that tree in a sliver of shade and supervised from a far.
After about an hour and a half of selling we made Tyson drove home and we made him our last customer and then we packed up and headed home. They made out like bandits.
Tyson decided to take us all to dinner at Sumay Grill. He and I shared a Spicy Pika burger and I thought my mouth would explode. J and L shared a cheese burger and a side order of red rice. Every restaurant serves red rice on this island, McDonalds and KFC included. Ha ha.
After burgers and fries we found this little movie rental store down in Agat. It was awesome and we spent way too long choosing out movies to take home. It felt like 1995 all over again.
I love weekends.
