Tuacahn & Horseshoe Bend

Tyson's happy place is outdoors and hiking or at a sporting event mine is at the theater. I put Tuacahn at the top of my list of things I wanted to do when we got back to the states and Tyson made sure it happened for me before we left Utah. He loves me! Guam didn't have much of any musical theater and I sure missed it.

I would have liked to see all three plays. But we chose to attend NEWSIES!!!
I told Lydia the story, played her all the songs and showed her the original Disney movie with the dreamy Christian Bale. She was well prepared.

The amazing Jeff Stephens from Bonneville High School was in all three productions. I would have loved to stay another night and see him rock Lord Farquad.

It was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The following day we made a detour so we could see Horseshoe Bend and it was worth every extra mile. Once again we had the cat so we had to take turns hiking up and then down to the lookout. Tyson and Lydia went first and then it was my turn.

It was up there with some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen.
