Enough of the cat updates, I know.....but he was part of this trip. We pulled into Norman, Oklahoma dropped Lewis off at a Kitty Condo and then went straight to our old apartment. We lived here from July 2009- July 2012 and Lydia didn't remember a single thing. Ha ha. We showed her this little hill the sidewalk where she learned to walk and would get nervous and need to hold our hand.
This was our bottom apartment. We spent lots of afternoons playing outside.
Hours and hours were spent swimming in this peanut shaped pool.
Our friends the Hales and Catherine's lived in these apartments near OU campus.
The main reason or this stop was to attend Tanner Satterthwaites wedding reception. He was one of Tyson's best Seminary students. It was a lot of fun to see so many people from our old ward and stake.
Caden was our favorite person to see. I took care of him for 2 years when we lived in Oklahoma. He was 4 when we left and he's 9 now and my what a handsome boy he has grown into.
We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with the Taylors and then spent the night in their beautiful home. It was soooo nice to catch up with them. Lydia and Caden hit it off really well too.
The next morning we picked up a few OU shirts to replace the ones we have worn out.
Lydia was introduced to Hover Boards and she was hooked.
That Saturday afternoon we met up with the Walsers and spent a few hours at the pool.
Lydia, Lillian, ----- & Samuel.
The last time our kiddos were together they looked like this.
We attended the old ward. It has split since we left so we didn't get to see everyone but we saw who we could.
I love my darling friend Aubrey. She is as sweet as can be. I miss living near her.
We said some sad goodbye's to the Taylor family. I can never say enough about how much I admire them. They are good people. Good down to the core.
And these two. SOOO much cutness. I'm sure they hated that I made them sit for these shots, but they did it with a smile.
And one of the good 'ol days.
