Thrifting

Every time we move to a new home we need to buy some new things for our space. This past season we were on the hunt for floor rugs, lawn mower, yard tools, bed side tables, floor lamps, some furniture for our living room and a few other small things. We hit so many thrift stores and garage sales and in the end we found every thing we needed.

This sale had tons of cute tops for only .50 cents.

Random OU football game. Not sure why I took this photo. Maybe to show the pretty tree lamp? $5.

Homes in Alabama don't have screens on them. I am not a fan of this. I am going to want to open my windows in the fall and spring and not have to worry about bugs coming in or Lewis going out.

I am a fan of old Children books. I want to buy them all. I don't, but I want to.
And this antique bed. Gorgeous! I tried to convince Tyson that I needed this in my life and he didn't agree.

I liked this plant display too. It was a ridiculous price so it didn't come home with me either.

To pass time living in our oh so boring hotel room I did some make up on Lydia.

We found a killer used book sale and on the last day of the sale we filled up a huge sack for only $1. Score.

This made me laugh.
