This post has been sitting in my drafts waiting for me to add some more photos to it, but I never have, so instead this will just be a short one.
Lydia doing the splits.
Sea Turtle spotting. Come back!
Sister Brown and her comp taught Asarina. I drove her to church for the first few Sundays and got to pick her up and take her to the church to be baptized. She is single and living with a sister helping to take care of lots of little girls. She doesn't speak much English, so mostly I talked and she nodded or smiled at me as we drove.
This was another baptism and Willie performed the ordinance.
This was right before we left on our cruise Lydia kept telling us she was having difficulty hearing so we took her in to the Navy hospital and they took a look.
More Lewis.
I loved this project of Lydia's. She had to map out our neighborhood. She and I had fun working on this together. I walked many, many miles around that neighborhood with my friends. I sure miss that mini mart, the park, those palm trees, the sunsets, all of our friends, late night walks, chilling on our lawn, our doorbell ringing non stop, the roosters crowing and standing at attention each night when the sun goes down. Yep, we miss our 1950's safe Apra view neighborhood.
