Singapore

I have some serious catching up to do. So here I go.

Our last stop on our cruise was in Singapore. How did I not blog about this already? After 14 days of cruising all over Asia we hit land here and called it good. Some people stayed on the ship as it was heading towards Indonesia next. We had a flight to catch to the Philippines so we didn't have much time to do anything here but we saw what we could and enjoyed all the views.

This city was clean and gorgeous. They have loads of rules and not chewing gum is one of them. We bought a magnet to add to our collection and it had all of the rules. In fact they don't even sell gum at the airport....so I bought a can of mints just for fun.

Our J Boy loves Pokemon and when we got to the airport and saw this HUGE Pokemon tree our hearts started to miss him.

This moving display had us mesmorized for a long time.

After being away from the news, wifi, and the USA we got back to reality real quick (Dec 2016) and had forgotten this happened. Still hadn't sunk in that we actually had a new president.

We beat all the lines and got to where we needed to be in no time flat.

It's always a good thing when you travel and you have no stories to tell. Things went smoothly and we made it home safely after a layover in Manila.

And you really have nothing to complain about when the airlines serves ice cream for dessert. Score!

PS. I did just remember the cell phone fiasco. Tyson misplaced his phone on the last night of our cruise. Lydia was in the kids club and we decided to go do some Karaoke. Tyson signed me up for a song and when it was my turn he grabbed his phone and much to my dismay was going to record me. But luckily he left his phone in his room, or so we thought. We searched that ship from top to bottom by retracing our steps. It had LOTS of video clips from our trip and we were sure bummed. We never found it. But months later after Tyson contacted the ship a bazillion times they found it. And a few months after that they mailed it back to us! Woo hoo!
