Koh Samui, Thailand

Koh Samui was a lovely place to visit. It reminded me of Guam as we got off the ship and rode on a boat to shore. Loads of people were snapping away with their camera's and I didn't take one shot.....I guess it just felt like we were going home.

Koh Samui: 15 miles in length
Guam: 30 miles

Our tour guides took us to this home to learn about coconuts.

This lady husks about 900 coconuts a day.

Our next stop was to learn about how they make rubber from the liquid produced from the trees.

Riding elephants was next on the schedule. We were super excited!

We all rode on the same elephant and along side us was a little baby elephant. We went for a walk around this beautiful island.

We bought some of our favorite banana's and took turns feeding them.

It was such a surreal activity to be having this adventure with my family, on this beautiful island riding such a mammoth creature. I won't forget this day for a long time.

We watched this little monkey make his way to the top of the coconut tree and throw them down.

We also witnessed this wild and crazy elephant show.

Tyson plaved some soccer with the elephants.

And we both got a nerve wracking body massage. Eeeeeek!

You bet we paid $11 so Lydia could pet a Tiger. We were in Thailand. Why not?

It was very, very cool.

Tyson and I got to pet the tiger too. What a beautiful and sleepy kitty.

Aren't these fancy soaps fabulous?

We did some wandering and shopping for the next little while.

I quite liked this island. I could live here.....but only if I could speak Thai. Ha.

Next stop: Singapore
