On My Mind

I like doing laundry only because I get to watch T.V. while I fold.

I tried growing out Lydia's bangs, that only lasted about 3 weeks and today I cut them, I think she looks better with bangs anyways.

I'm growing a pineapple outside my house. It will be ready to eat in a year and a half.

The guards won't let our foreign national missionaries on base anymore. Boo.

I am over being in different time zones than my sisters.

I burned 541 calories at my Zumba class today but the lady next to me said her watch said she burned 857 calories. Are these fit bits even accurate? I'm pretty sure we did the same workout.

Lydia & J still have a month left of school.

When I get to the states I am excited to drink Diet Dr. Pepper.

Two of my best friends are leaving Guam this summer. I can't handle it.

My hairdresser left the island and now I need to find a new one. I miss Heather and so does my hair.

I want to go back to Tokyo. I love that place. I could seriously live there.

I get to go to a musical next weekend.

I am into taking photos of trees lately.

Tyson was listening to Christmas music last night. Random but fun.

Johne said he wished that Michael Jackson would come to our base and do a concert. I told him I wish he would too.

Politics gives me a pit in my stomach.

My friends are the best of the best. This thought crosses my mind every day. They really are.

Whenever Johne throws trash away he yells, "Curry."

This weekend the boys are going on a Father Son camp out. I think I'll host a girls night.

I miss 2007 when Facebook used to just be status updates and pictures. No articles, movies, links and useless junk.

I have company coming soon and its going to be the best! I am giddy every time I think about it.

Johne invited me to Mothers Day Tea in his classroom yesterday. He made me a crown and a sash. I felt so loved.

My house looks like a Hobby Lobby right now and we don't even have a Hobby Lobby.

Family Home Evening last night was magical.

Lydia makes her bed every single day without being reminded.

The cashier at our mini mart gave us a free bag of mangoes from her home. Mmmm!

Lydia and Tyson are tired of peanut butter sandwiches for lunch. I need to step up my game.

I recently watched Life is Beautiful on VHS. I forgot how much I liked that movie.

I spotted a gecko in our front room yesterday aaaaaand Lewis ate it. Poor gecko.

I need a new book to read. And a new show to watch on Netflix. Suggestions?

I haven't missed a day writing in my Journal this entire year.

My phone fell off the couch and cracked. Boo.

I eat an orange every single day.

Elder Cook is coming to Guam at the end of the month!!!!!

Danielle Bradbury came to Guam last weekend. (country singer) Her song, "Sway" was our favorite.

I went to a spin class on Sat and it kicked my trash but was so much fun.

I like doing push ups. I can't do very many but I can do more that I used to be able to do.

The missionaries are bringing me a trunk full of bamboo shoots for a project I'm working on.

They also brought me a language packet and told me I should learn to speak Chuukese.

That's all for now.

Time to go fold some more laundry.

Bye.

I LOVE this. This is exactly what I need to do. Just thoughts, without much explanation! I wish I could say that I have even written in a journal once in the last 3 months. You are amazing!

I love your thankful list. I think I should make one, I'm sure it would lighten my mood. Were you able to connect with my acquaintance Laura from Sammamish? Who knows, she might turn out to be a good friend after she moves to Guam.
