Aunt Ali & Gracie

Tyson left to pick up his sister Ali and our niece Gracie up at the  airport at 1:00 a.m. They made the LONG, long, long flight from Arizona just to see us. When I woke up the next morning it was truly surreal to see someone we knew in our home. It has been over a year and a half since we have seen any of our family.

We let them fight off jet lag the first day or two and they honestly adjusted so well, much better than we did when we first came to the island.

Our first beach stop was at Gab Gab. Tyson took the day off work and we pulled Lydia from school and the five of us went snorkeling. I ended up seeing a sea turtle but he was cruising super fast and I couldn't get the little girls to swim fast enough to catch up to him. They did see lots of neat fish though.

After snorkeling we ate a picnic lunch on the beach and then just enjoyed catching up. Lydia adored having a cousin to play with. Cousins have such a special bond and like I said it has been much too long since Lydia has had any cousin time at all. She was truly in heaven.

We hurried home and just barely beat Johne's bus back to our house after school. It was a great start to our two weeks together!
