Sunday in Japan

We attended church in Tokyo and it was very nice to be in a big full ward again. It was filled to capacity and even broadcast-ed in other rooms in the building but luckily the Elders we had met earlier in the week had saved us a seat. The chapel was right next to the Temple and at 9 a.m. they have an English ward. We had no idea that so American members lived in the area. It was a lovely service and after the meeting we wandered through a beautiful park across the way from the Temple.

Umbrella's at church.

It was Valentines day and I braided Lydia's hair into a heart.

We spotted this cemetery while walking through the city. All the tombstones are tall and skinny, we weren't able to go inside because it was fenced and locked up but I snapped this picture through the gate.

It is just sitting here right in the middle of Tokyo. I wonder how many hundreds more are hidden among the city.

We had to switch rooms at our hotel and in this room we had a view of Angel Moroni standing high. I pondered a lot about the church and Joseph Smith when he restored the gospel to the earth. It is fascinating to me and brings me peace to know that we have Temples and people of our faith in so many countries around the globe.
