Utah trip part 2

It was a blast to be in Utah the same weeks as the Elliott family. One of our favorite days was spent at Park City. We started off at the Alpine Slide and then the crew decided to try to the new roller coaster that cruises down the mountain. The line was long but Tyson, Ali and the older kids said it was worth the wait.

We went to lunch, did some shopping and then headed to Olympic park.

Meanwhile Lewis was back at Grandpa & Grandma's acting like he owns the place on the master bed. Tsk. Tsk. Bad kitty.

I think Grandpa grew to like him.

We facetimed J Boy so he could see all the cousins.

We enjoyed plenty of perfect Utah summer nights out on the lawn.

I took two of my young women, Erin & Alexis out to breakfast.

Tyson went non stop visiting friends and eating out at all of his favorite places.

Matt & Stephanie Caldwell took us to this awesome park near their home.

We had to recreate this fantastic photo of Cameron, Lydia, Gracie and Madi on Grandma's porch.

Boy oh boy, how are these kids so big now?

We split our time and headed to back and forth to Ogden.

The Cole's were also visiting Utah from Boston.

A favorite tradition is going to the Weber State fireworks. Willie Albert joined us this year. It was fun to show him where Tyson and I met, fell in love and began our life together.

Utah has so many great parks, we explored this one in Layton....it was enjoyable until the scent of the landfill made us get back in our cars and head home. Ew!

This happened while we were in Utah. My sisters home caught on fire, they were not at home, nobody was injured, but it was none the less still traumatic for their entire family and everyone involved.

Fire officials believe that the fire started in the garbage can which was placed next to the garage.
This was the melted gate next to the garage.

An old high school friend of mine was performing in the musical Annie at the Terrace Plaza theater, so I too the little girls to go and see it. Whitney did a fantastic job.

We got together with Stephanie, Hilary and all of all of our kiddos for a play date at the pool. We brought Brooklyn and Courtney along as well.

Then afterwards we hit Lee's groceries for some donuts and popcorn. Mmmm!

Before we left Utah to head East Nana had a project for the girls to do. They made little stepping stones. Lydia left her's in the flower bed next to our Sisters sign.

That's a wrap for now. Lots more to catch up on coming soon.
