On our way to Alabama we stopped made a few stops along on the way. Our first one was here at this dive. We ate the best lunch here and cheesecake that still has us salivating.
Then after we had full stomachs we made our way to Zion National Park.
The weather said there was a chance for flash floods and it was fairly overcast so with that the crowds were down and we had a great experience hiking. Not too hot. Just right.
The true beauty of this place cannot be captured but I sure tried.
Lydia is most happy when she is in nature. Well, that's not true, she is happy 99.9% of the time, but a different part of her comes alive when we are outdoors hiking and she just beams. She loves exploring, climbing and going off the beaten path to show us cool things she see's.
It was a great day for hiking. Tyson woke up the following morning and hiked Angels landing. I will have to see if I can find the video he made with the Go Pro of that adventure. At first I was a little nervous he was going alone, it is not known for being the safest hike. But he is careful and cautious and really fit so I said a prayer and knew he'd be ok and he was.
