Fish Lake Family Reunion

Every other year we have a Goodrich family reunion, we take turns planning it and each time we end up in a different location. This year was loads of fun....we had lots of new activities that we had never done as a family before now.

Like early morning jump roping.

Nothing like jump roping at 7:30 a.m. to get your body going for the day.

The kids had a blast.

Jaida & Lydia.

Grandpa & Dusty.

Our Grandpa can jump like nobody's business.

Our camp site was called Frying pan. Our site didn't have much shade but luckily the weather wasn't too hot.

Michele organized a game called Three Deep.

Mingle. Mingle. Mingle.

We also played a super intense candy bar steeling game.

It is tradition to put a quilt on and get to work. Everyone helps put in a stitch or two.

Dusty matched the quilt. How cute is that? I think Dean went home with this bad boy. Lucky!

We played the Dice game and loads of other games.

Lydia and Gracie. Lydia wasn't the only one wearing a Guam t-shirt. I think I noticed 4 or 5 of them. Nice!

We headed down to the Marina, where the Goodworths reserved a pontoon for us.

Dean and some of the other men and kids did a little fishing.

I hopped on the Pontoon with this fun crew.
Savannah, Myranda, Raigan, Laura, Morgan & Dakota.

Wayne was our driver and he did a mighty fine job.

Gracie & Lydia.

Michele and I.

Eric is a hoot.

This girls were sure entertaining to watch.

Cooper.

Cameron.

Kathy, Dakota & Savannah.

Paul, Grandpa, Kathy, Noell, Ali, Michele, Dean and bunch of nieces & nephews.

Carter, Tanner and Cameron rode their bikes to the Marina and bike.

Grandpa and Grandma typically use their tent trailor but this year they busted out the old family tent. Grandpa said it is about 30 years old. That qualifies as vintage, no? I think so. They don't make em like that anymore.

Kathy brought this super fun game. I forget what these little balls are called. Orbis? Something like that. They absorb water and become really squishy and after they hit someone they explode.

Team Tucker.

Team Dusty.

Grandpa always gets in on the fun.

They used special tubes to blow the balls at each other. Once you got hit you had to sit out.

They all wore protective eye gear. Safety first.

After a few games it became every man for themselves and no boundaries. I had never seen Lydia run so fast.

One of my favorite things was sitting around the fire at night listening to the Goodrich kids sing along to Dakota's Ukulele. We have some serious talented nieces and nephews.

Cooper, Grayson, Raigan, Gracie, Maddi, Duster, Carter, Morgan, Cameron, Lydia, Tucker, Savannah, Dakota, Myranda, Kaneesha & Riley (married 2 years now), Allie, Jaida, Eric, Tanner & Grandma and Grandpa.

Thanks for the Goodworth's for planning such a fun event. Thanks for everyone for loaning me ALL of my camping gear and warm clothing. Thank you to all the delicious food, we never go hungry at these things. Mmmm!

Take a look back:
