A practically perfect night

This was one of those magical nights when my hearts just swells and I can't help but feel grateful.

At this moment I was grateful to live here on Guam, to have talented engineering friends who know how to create zip lines, I was grateful for summer nights, grateful for the beautiful ocean, so many amazing families who we get to spend time with, I am grateful that Lydia gets to create these childhood memories living on and island and to top it all off we had family to share it with.

Avery Lallatin.

Morgan & Myranda.

Ashton & Sophie.

Allan thinks he's a male swimsuit model. Ha ha.

Sophie was a little dare devil this night.

Myranda.

Morgan.

Lillian & Avery.

Lydia and Adam Perrins- he's the genius behind these fun contraptions.

Us parents all had turns too. Here is Seth.

Two people could go at once.

Adam and his son Eli. (who is now on a mission)

Lisa.

Isabel.

Kate.

Emma.

When we weren't zip lining into the ocean we were swimming, diving off the sides and having a marvelous time.

Spider man.

Lydia was a little pro by the end of the night.

We stayed well after dark and I was sitting next to Johne when Lydia came running up to me in some intense pain. She had been attacked by a sea urchin. Its spines got her foot really good. She pulled them out as she climbed out of Gab Gab pool.

Tyson took Lydia and Johne home to doctor her up. She has a high tolerance for pain, she always have, her foot got pretty swollen and in the picture below you can see the black ink marks. The marks stayed around for a few weeks.

This is what a sea urchin looks like. I'm still not exactly sure of how it all happened but it did and she was out of pain in about 3 days. I have one tough kid!
