Our newest surfer

This scene right here touched my heart, Lydia's surf coaches, coach Joe & Demi swept Johne away from my one day after class was over and stayed behind to let him have a turn in the pool. It made me so grateful that 'my village' love him and are helping me raise him.

The next week at surf they insisted that Johne get on a board and hit the waves. He was brave and he did it a few times. The next day the nurse called me from school and told me his back was hurting and asked me to come and get him. I'm pretty sure he used some new muscles.

I snapped these with my phone....it was a sunny day and they aren't the best.

Tyson came and helped catch Johne when he would fall off the board.

One week later:

These two are just the best. They brought him some goggles to use and they haul him in and out of the pool for me, they tease him with love and ask him about his life. it really is above and beyond.

This is Lexi. We love watching her surf.

Braeden is a year older than Johne.
And Ella is a year older than Lydia.

Skinned knee at the pool. Ouch.

We are sure proud of this kid and his willingness to try new things with us.
