December has come and gone ( and now, so has January) and here are a few this and that photo's of our every day life.
We cleaned and decorated our home just in time to host a game night with some of our friends.
We attended Stake Conference and I ran into one of my dearest little lambs. Her home burned down last summer and they had to move out of our boundaries.
Elsa the Elf made her appearance about 1/2 way through the month of December.
Lydia and I went on Mother Daughter date to our base theater.
I painted this cute family from West Haven, Utah.
Tyson had CDO and we picked up the usual, subs from the Commissary and then joined him for dinner at the hospital. Before we left we watched him do his flag duty.
Another shot from Stake Conference.
Johne is a huge fan of our nacho Sundays that we eat each week. These two laugh so much at the kitchen table.J scored a train set for Christmas from a party he attended at the baptist church.
We arrived at church super early one morning....well 15 minutes early and these munchkins read and read until the service started.
Lydia went into the bathroom as a human, turned the water on and came out as a mermaid. J was amazed!
I attended Lydia's Christmas performance. It was Kindergarten through 2nd grade and the music teacher had them sing about 10 songs. It was very well put together and entertaining.
One of my little primary boys had the only solo.
J got a remote control car for Christmas. The neighbor kids love playing it with him.
Lydia's roller blades have gotten a lot of use. She keeps improving.
Tyson is serving as the Young Men's president in our ward and for the December Mutual activity he planned an outing at the Governors mansion to see the lights. He invited all the families who had youth and even though Lydia isn't a youth we tagged along anyhow.
Dinner at the food court.
A fun outing to Chuck E Cheese.
Ella has a good life.
Oooh, okay maybe she doesn't. Elsa used her Frozen powers on her this morning. Brrrr!
Fish Taco's at Carmens is a new favorite meal of ours. Mmmmm!
Lewis loves cuddling with Tyson when he gets home from work.
Micronesia mall had a beautiful display this year.
The kids took a little trip on the train while Journey music played over the loud speakers....ha ha. What?
"Don't stop believing......"
We frequently spot rainbows on this beautiful island.
Once it stopped raining we played a little bit of basketball.
We took Yme home from church with us on this day and she played with J and Lydia. She's a sweet heart.
Lewis is so kind to keep Lydia's feet warm while she writes in her journal.
I made Chocolate balls for all of my friends. These babies never disappoint.
Lydia had an appointment to the dentist.
Then we enjoyed some McD's.
Sand balls.
Nothing I love more than some bookworms all cozy on the couch. (Reading Ivy & Bean books.)
On our anniversary we stopped by Yogurt land for a treat.
On another day some local girls asked to come and play. After a few hours I told them I needed to take them home so I could clean my house....they opted to stay and help and so I put them to work. My bathroom had never looked cleaner.
I found Lydia reading chapter books to the Garcia girls. They listened to her for about 45 minutes. It was pretty darn sweet.
I also caught my reader enjoying some of my new cookbooks that I got for Christmas. I love cookbooks! Thank you Heather and Michele!
This was our view on our practically perfect afternoon at the beach.
On our way out in the dark we turned the car on and this was our view of the jungle outside our car.
These are my only two photos from New years eve so enjoy. We went outside on our street for a Mount Alutom party with the neighbors. It was our 2nd annual party. I found a stash of glow sticks to share with all the kids and we decorated J's chair. It looked pretty snazzy.
The next day we went to Star wars. I LOVED it. Such a good show!
We ran into some friends from church while taking J to the hair salon.
We tried the new Rey hairstyle on Lydia before going to our friend Cody's 40th birthday party.
More laughing at the dinner table.
Thanks for all the Christmas card love. I have put away Christmas but I can't take down all of your sweet faces just yet.
It was a great month....
The end.
