My heart has been in Oklahoma this entire week.
They knew that severe weather was coming and it hit with a fury.
Moore, Oklahoma was 8 miles from our apartment.
I grocery shopped in Moore each week at Aldi.
We went to the Warren theater often.
Our friends the Braimmers live there, their home was spared.
But so many others were not.
It was heart wrenching to watch.
My eyes were glued to news for days.
Tears were shed and lots of prayers were said.
I compiled some pictures, video's and articles that have been posted this week.

The tornado killed 24 people, including 7 children. So many more were injured and in critical condition.
Moore was hit by a HUGE Tornado in 1999 and the 2 tracks were extremely similar. This was unreal to me.

Quote found in the ruble: "The most important things in life aren't things."
Roosevelt students were scheduled to go on their field trip today & voted to instead spend the $1,400, plus other money donated, to buy supplies at Wal-Mart to take to tornado victims. Wal-Mart also donated $500 for this too!!!

I no longer live in Oklahoma, but it will always hold a deep and dear place in my heart. It was home for 3 amazing years of our life. We experienced so much in that place of the world and rubbed shoulders with incredible families and individuals.
The relief efforts have been heart warming to read and hear about from friends. My Stake in Oklahoma is only offering the sacrament today so everyone can get out and keep working.
Friends of mine were lined up for hours at Sams Club with carts full of supplies for the misplaced victims and churches on every corner were collecting supplies.
You'll never find a nicer group of people in all the world and I mean it.
They will rebuild Moore, and the other surrounding areas again and come out stronger, that is for certain.
