Mom told me about this book a few months ago and I finally had them hold it for me at the Library.I wasn't even allowed to say the word 'butt' growing up, Mom made us use the British word 'bum' or bottom.
Here is an entire book dedicated to Butt's. Kids will love it, Mom's and Dad's too...anyone with a sense of quarky (?) humor will be laughing.
Here is a snippet of my favorite pages:
Buttocks is the formal name; and not two buttocks are the same. Butt's can come in every size. Some will droop and some will rise.
Some names for butt's have foreign flair: tuchas, keister, derriere. In England where they call moms 'mums' people call their buttocks 'bums'.
Without your butt, you're incomplete, you could not use the toilet seat.
Ok, I'll stop now, just check it out for yourself the next time you go to the library!
The author is Artic Bennett and the illustrations by Mike Lester are a hoot.
